We have had a crazy December and thanks to Erica hounding me we finally put our tree up. It was really hard for me this year to get into Christmas. So thankful for the excitement of my children to help me have the Christmas spirit.
The first thing we did was build a house of Gingerbread.
I just let the girl go at it! We had candy all
over the floor before we even got started.
The finished project
The ward did a Musical Fireside and asked the primary to sing. They sang "Picture of Christmas" and made the nativity. Erica was asked to be Mary, she was so proud of that special part.
There is Mary with Joseph(friend Levi) and Aubrey.
She had to be in the picture.
Erica's was talking about a school Christmas concert. She said they were going to sing and was really excited about us coming to watch. So she invited Grandma and was even more happy that Grandpa came too. They sang 4 little songs to us with all the actions. She still sings them and Aubrey is doing it along with her.
Erica with friends Zoe and Emma
Tradition : Christmas Eve Children's Dance @ the church has been going on here in Cherry Grove for as long as I can remember.
The girls dancing away!
At the end we got a visit from Someone! With treat bags and goodies. Through out we have all kinds of fun dance/activities and the kids/adults get prizes.
Get me out of here! Aubrey was okay
to look, but not to touch!
Dear Santa Clause I want a big Cinderella

Me and my beautiful girls
After dinner and the Nativity Story @ Grandmas we made our way home. Opened jammies ate our Jesus cupcakes and got ready for bed.
Our Beauties

Christmas Morning was a blast! Erica was right into it and was so exciting to watch. Aubrey really didn't understand at first. She soon got it from watching Erica.
Aubrey with her rocking horse.
She says "yee-haa" and goes crazy
Erica got a leap pad and was on it all the time.
We had to change the batteries the next day!
Her wish did come true she got her big Cinderella.
We told Erica that we would not have a big Christmas this year because we just went to Disney Land. We did write this in her Santa letter. She told us " Santa didn't listen we got so many new toys!"
On Boxing Day we booked the gym at the Church. We had so much fun playing with all our remote control everything and playing with fun games. A new tradition was born I think.
Love this pic Aubrey has to be right there with ya!
We had a really happy small Christmas. It will be remembered and cherished. Thank you Jesus for your Birthday so we can remember thee and build memories with our families.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
